Base officials beleive the suspect was a staff member at the bases officer candidate school
(Quantico, VA) -- Three Marines are dead, including the gunman, after a shooting and barricade situation at Virginia's Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia.
Marine First Lieutenant Agustin Solivan says the shooter was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Two other Marines were also found dead.
The base was on lockdown for several hours. The lockdown was lifted early this morning and the base is all clear to resume normal activity.
