The FAA has to clear close to $600 million from its budget

The Federal Aviation Administration is shutting down nearly 150 airport control towers as of April 7th.  As many as 189 were on the chopping block due to massive federal spending cuts.  The FAA has to clear close to $600 million from its budget.  It could mean thousands of air traffic controllers around the nation would be without jobs.
