(Santa Monica, CA)  --  Police in Santa Monica, California now say they believe the gunman in the deadly shooting spree on Friday acted alone.  Five people are dead after the string of shootings that ended on the campus of Santa Monica College.  Sergeant Richard Lewis says a second person detained was not involved.

The gunman is among the dead.  He was killed by police at the school as he continued to fire rounds from an assault rifle in the library.  He began his rampage at a residence near the campus, opening fire in a house.
